Favour Femi-Oyewole is the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Access Bank Plc. Before joining Access Bank as their Group CISO, she was the Group Head, Enterprise Risk
Management at the Nigerian Stock Exchange, managing both the Information Security and Enterprise Risk Management Departments. She is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS), The Chartered Institute for IT, and the first female in Africa to be a Blockchain Certified Professional. She is a Certified ISO 27001:2013 Lead Implementer Trainer and an Alumni of Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) – Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She is a member of the Cybercrime Advisory Council in Nigeria with the Mandate of implementing Cybersecurity for all sectors in Nigeria and the pioneer Chair of the Standard and Evaluations Committee.
She also holds several IT certifications from organizations such as Microsoft, Cisco, Checkpoint, Information Security, Risk Management, and Cybersecurity. She is a Cisco Certified Security Professional, Checkpoint Security Administrator, 1st female COBIT 5 Assessor certified in Africa, Certified Chief Information Security Officer, Certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor, and Certified ISO 22301 Lead Auditor.
She has over 22 years of experience managing all aspects of Information Technology with vast knowledge in Enterprise IT Security, Information Technology, IT Governance, Information Security best practices, Cyber Security, Business Continuity, and Risk Management, especially in dynamic, demanding, large scale environments.
Her diverse background in Information Technology, Enterprise Information Security, and Cybersecurity has made her outstanding in resolving complex Information Technology Enterprise Information Security and Cybersecurity issues at various times in her career and made her function effectively as a Global CISO. She is versatile in designing and managing security implementations, security standards, security risk assessment, system-related security management and reviews, information security and Cybersecurity awareness training, IT Risk, IT Governance, and Business Continuity Planning. To her, Security is not an afterthought but must be embedded from the onset.
Favour has brought global honour and recognition not only to her organization, the country, and the African continent but to the entire world as she emerged as the 1st woman in the world to win the Global Certified CISO (C|CISO) of the Year 2017 from the EC-Council in the USA and currently as a member of the Global C|CISO Advisory Board. She recently emerged as one of the Top 50
Women in Cybersecurity 2020 Award Winner in Africa. Favour won another Award as the Information Security woman of the Year 2021 in Nigeria.
Favour holds a Bsc in Computer Science from Ogun State University, with two (2) Master’s
Degrees – MSc Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and MSc Information Security – the University of Liverpool, UK-is currently a Doctoral student at Covenant University, Nigeria. Joe Voje
Chief Information Security Officer, Oregon Health & Science University
Mr. Voje currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Oregon Health & Science University, the state’s largest academic medical center and the largest employer in Portland, Oregon. He is responsible for developing and operating a complex privacy and security program that protects sensitive health and research data which helps push the boundaries of modern medicine.
Previously Mr.Voje served as the CISO for the City & County of San Francisco, the world’s most iconic tech-centric city. During his tenure, he was named as one of the top 100 CISO’s globally for 2017.
Mr. Voje has also served as the Chief Information Security Officer for The University of Texas-Pan American, where he developed an Information Security program and Privacy practice for one of The United States’ largest Hispanic serving institutions of higher education.
As former Naval Officer, Commander Voje served in many roles related to cybersecurity and information assurance for the U.S. Navy. He has previously served as the Information Systems Director for the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed air wing in Atsugi, Japan; the Information Assurance Officer for the Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; the Information Assurance Manager for Carrier Strike Group Nine homeported out of Everett, Washington; and the Executive Officer of the U.S. Naval Computer and Telecommunication Station Bahrain.
Outside of the military, he has led the Information Security programs for a large west coast financial institution, Washington State’s second largest public utility district, and consulted for the Federal Government in addition to intellectual property and law firms through his consulting company, American Cyber Corps.
He is an active contributor to the international and national information security community. He is on the Certified Chief Information Security Officer advisory board for EC-Council, an international information security training and certification body. He previously served as President of the Rio Grande Chapter of the FBI’s InfraGard program in South Texas.
