Featured Speaker: Wanda Silva

Wanda J. Silva is the Founder and President of Silva Capital Solutions, Inc. (1999 to Present). Based in Marietta, Georgia, Silva Capital Solutions remains the nation’s leader in providing merger, acquisition and financial advisory services to middle market companies including Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and Outsourced Business Service companies.

With 26 years of M&A experience, over 100 completed transactions in the Healthcare and Professional Employer Service (PEO) industries with an aggregate sales price over $1Billion, Ms. Silva is recognized, admired and trusted for her integrity, exceptional industry knowledge, and superior transaction skills.

Ms. Silva holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Communications from the University of North Carolina; a Master of Science Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin; and a Certificate in Finance and Accounting from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Preparing to be a Corporate Director from the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.

Ms. Silva has authored numerous articles including “Acquisition Profitability – How is it Measured by a Buyer?” “The Five Reasons Why Companies Get More Money at the Time of Sell,” and “Trends in PEO Mergers and Acquisitions.” Wanda speaks on a frequent basis at professional association and industry related seminars and conferences on such subjects as “The Value of Internal Controls in Valuation” and “Working in the Merger and Acquisition World.”

Wanda Silva served as a Director on the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations Board of Directors 2012 to 2016 and served as a Professional Advisory Director for Employer Services Assurance Corporation 2010 to 2012. She founded the PEO Women Executive Affinity Group in 2018 and also served as a Professional Advisory Director for the Alliance for PEO Electronic Compliance 2012 to 2016. Ms. Silva is a Board Director and Advocate for OnBoard, Inc. and will serve as a Fall 2021 mentor for Next OnBoard.

Wanda has two sons, her most prized transactions ever. Alan, is a Captain for Mesa Airlines and Scott is a Cryptocurrency Investor & Blockchain Risk-Manager Pioneer. In her free time, Wanda enjoys time with her two dogs, travel, volunteer work for Hospice and spending time with her neighbors on the Marietta Square.
