He has innovated multiple solutions & created de-novo framework to raise the bar of Information Security control. He has filed “two Global Patents” & “One Trade Secret” in Information Security Domain in last 6 years. He is adept at applying techno-financial expertise to bring about smarter decisions in climates of considerable risk with ever bulging threat matrix and ensuring risk mitigation using ROI based performance model.

In his current profile he leads a team super specialists in cyber security to evangelise Cyber Security Education in India Engineering Institutions across country and help create a million cyber army for India in next 5 years.

He has achieved excellence in his field & is the winner of several awards. He is also a regular speaker & jury member at Bombay Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Assocham, CII, E-crime India /CSO /CTO / CIO Forum / Express Computers, Teaching Cyber security in schools and to retired armed forces personnel assisting them in getting jobs in the industry. He has authored/co-authored around 24 research papers in national/international journals/Conferences. He is conducting research in the field of Cloud Security, Vanet/Manet Security, Cryptography and Wireless security. Dr. A.K.Mohapatra did his Ph. D. in Cryptography from USIT, GGSIP University and M.Tech.(CSE) from ISM-Dhanbad. He is a life member of CSI(India).

Sameer is a pioneer in Indian banking industry for achieving ISO 27001 , PCI-DSS and BS25999 certification for the Bank. He also authored a book “Information Security-Demystified” for bank’s users and employees. Established ZACHMAN framework and SABSA based Information security architecture. On the panel of Regulators and IBA on developing “Security Standard for indian banks”. Experience on all domains of Information security .viz.. Enterprise , infrastructure, application and finally data protection/ Privacy. Expertise on relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as SOX, HIPPA, RBI guidelines, MAS guidelines, FFIEC guidelines, UK Data Protection Act.

He is currently engaged in conceptualization and development of a National Cyber Security Strategy, and implementation of a National Cyber Security Assurance Framework. These programs are aimed at enabling protection of National critical information infrastructure and ensuring the safety and security of cyberspace in the country.

Recently, he was nominated to represent India in the United Nations Group of Governmental Experts Committee and Council for Security Cooperation in Asia-Pacific for studying Developments in the field of information and communication technology in the context of International security and making suitable recommendations. For EC-Council Global CISO Summit 2015 India, he is nominated to be the Honorary Member of the Organising Committee.

Vinayak heads Information Technology function of Deloitte India. A large proportion of his time over last 24 years has been spent as a CIO of Multinational and Indian business groups in varied industries such as Information Technology, Telecom, Consulting and Manufacturing. His areas of expertise include Business Transformation, Process Improvement, IT Risk Management, Program Management, ERP implementation and Cross-Cultural team building. Besides Information Technology, Vinayak has experience in leading other functions like Strategic Planning, Corporate Resources and Management Consulting.

Vishal Salvi joined PwC in November 2014 as partner for Cyber-Security practice in India.

He has varied experience in information security strategy, policy, risk management, architecture, information security program, IT Service delivery and governance. His deep understanding of IT, business and GRC allowed him to build capabilities that have produced great value.

Cdr Manish Tiwari (Retd) has 26 years of work experience including 25 years in the Indian Navy where he set up the Information Security & Incident Response Practice , including the formulation of Policy Frameworks, Security Audits, Product Testing, Implementation of Solutions, Cyber Forensics and Risk Management. His experience includes coordinating and directing all phases of Project based efforts, whilst managing, motivating, guiding and mentoring teams, in the course of building up the Information Security organization of the Indian Navy.

He is a qualified CISA, CISP, Lead Auditor, CEH, E|CSA, C|HFI and LPT. In his last appointment, he represented the Indian Navy at all National level Government forums, on issues related to IT security, for the protection of the National Critical Information Infrastructure.

After leaving the Armed Forces, he served in an IT Risk Management Firm handling overall governance and Service Delivery of security services in the UID project and a major telecom. In Oct 2014 he has taken over as the National (Information) Security Officer India for Microsoft Corporation.

Felix is one of India’s most respected information security thought leaders, and the winner of Vishist Seva Medal from the President of India for his innovative work in information security. He is also the recipient of various prestigious awards including the Data Security Council of India ‘Security Leader Award’, CSO Forum ‘Security Visionary Award’, RSA ‘Security Strategist Award’, India’s Star CSO Award and various media awards for his outstanding contributions to the field of information security.

In 2013, Felix founded CISO Academy, an all-encompassing cybersecurity company focused on skill development and capacity building, consulting and advisory as well as cybersecurity awareness. Prior to this, he was the Senior VP and Global CISO at Bharti Airtel responsible for managing information risks, business continuity and compliance across twenty-two countries in Africa, India and South Asia, and Bharti Group companies. He was also the Chief Architect of Airtel. Prior to Airtel, he was Director of Indian Navy’s IT and CEO of SecureSynergy, a managed security services company.

Felix is on the board of advisors of various companies, initiatives and associations, including:

• Member of the National Task Force on Information Security set up by the Prime Minister’s Office under the auspices of the National Security Council to define India’s Cybersecurity Roadmap
• Co-Chair of the Industry Working Group of the Indo-US Cyber Security Forum and DOT Working Group on Telecom Security
• Chair of the CII National Committee on Data Security
• Member of the Sub-Committees of the Government-Industry Joint Working Group for PPP and Cybersecurity Policy
• Advisory Board of IBM, Blue Coat, Cybersecurity Education and Research Centre (CERC @ IIIT-Delhi) and RSA Security for Business Innovation Council
